What Did We do?
Based in what was a former clothes-making building, South Block in Glasgow’s Merchant City is home to some of Glasgow’s finest creatives.
Reflecting the monochrome aesthetic of the building, we also added splashes of colour through the classic furniture specification and warm lighting. The industrial columns & exposed brick are coupled with galvanised service ducting. The use of black stained plywood is used throughout floors and touch points to marry budget & function and meeting spaces are enveloped in a carpet and acoustic panelled finish.
South Block is a flagship creative hub for WASPS studios and the regeneration of this area. Images of Good’s office were widely used in the publicity material for the building which won the Andrew Doolan Architectural prize.
