wha’s like us?

‘Scots invented the modern world’ is a clichéd over-statement, but this celebration of achievements by Scots and Scotland showed that Western Europe’s poorest nation has certainly punched well above its weight.

What Did We do?

Wha's Like us? A Nation of Dreams and Ideas exhibition may have had an unorthodox A — Z layout but one that has proved both extremely accessible and popular with all ages, from the off. The breadth of content was a real deep dive by the curators into every vault of the National Library which kept us all captivated throughout the process.

The mix of entries is the unique selling point - with the most diverse case having a first edition copy of Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations beside a Dandy annual - definitely something for all tastes. Bespoke software designed for digital feedback allowed visitors to add to the entries and customised object numbering were a few details symptomatic of our rigorous attention to detail and added value.
