What Did We do?

Entrusted with this stunning collection of international significance, we created a bold contemporary display to highlight both the colour and intricate nature of the objects. The key object was the French gold standard captured by Ayrshire born Sergeant Charles Ewart on the battlefield which was paired with another Imperial Eagle captured from Napoleon’s army, for the first time in 50 years. We enjoyed interpreting the travel tea set just as much though - a very relatable relic from the bloody battle.
